NS Tools:

This group of Nameserver Tools are used to find information about the domains on this server.
Very helpful with migrating in knowing what domains will cause problems by showing information about all domains.

Things like:

  • If a domain is using Local Nameservers and Local IP
  • If a domain is using Local Nameservers and an External IP
  • Using External Nameservers but has a Local IP
  • Using External Nameservers and an External IP
  • ISP information of the IP a domain is using
  • Group domains into Local or External categories

Domain Resolver Check Usage:

By default this tool fills in the servers current Nameservers set in the WHM settings.
You can enter in different Nameservers in this tool to check domains against those chosen Nameservers.
This helps when you have several Nameservers you administer or just need to know what domains on the server are using custom Nameservers.
All data in this tool is available in a downloadable text file by clicking the download link above each column.

Nameserver Lookup Usage:

This tool is used to get domain IP addresses, ISP information and Nameserver details for all domains on the server.
Once the report is ran it displays the data on page and also provides a csv file download link for easy external review.


Email Tools:

This group of tools are used to pull email account information, usage, and spam on the server.
Very helpful with migrations, finding spam and just bad accounts.

Large Mailbox Scan Usage:

This tool is used to find email accounts on the server that have very large mailboxes.
Very helpful in not just figuring out how much time a migration will take but also cleaning up space.

The Threshold setting is used to flag accounts with a minimum of that many emails in the account.
The default for this is 5000 emails but can be changed to look for any amount minimum you choose.
Because this tool can take a lot of time to run, depending on how many clients you have, an email address is required so you know when the tool has completed its process.

Exim Search Usage:

This tool is used to help find information from Exim on the server.
Very helpful in tracking down spam emails and removing them.

The options for this tool are self explanatory.
Items marked with ** requires input in the “Input Box for Options” box.

Options:

  • Print a count of the messages in the queue.
  • Print a listing of the messages in the queue.
  • Print a summary of messages in the queue.
  • Print what Exim is doing right now.
  • Display all of Exim’s configuration settings.
  • Remove All Frozen messages in queue.
  • Search Exim_Mainlog for messages by email address
  • Search the queue for messages from a specific sender.
  • Search the queue for messages for a specific recipient/domain.
  • Remove email from queue for specific address.

Mail Sender Summary Usage:

This tool is used to show several details about email going out on your server.
Very helpful in finding possible spam sending accounts or scripts on the server.

Click the Submit button and you will be presented with data scraped from the Exim logs broken down into 4 categories.

Categories:

  • Top Senders
  • Common Subjects
  • Script Mail
  • Top auth_id Senders

Apache Log Tools:

This group of Log Tools are used to help track down bad Traffic to your server.

Domain Log Parser Usage:

Domain Log Parser is a super tool used to find malicious connections to your server.
Very helpful in analyzing domain logs to find DDOS attacks, Spammers and other nefarious attacks.

Select an item you would like to inspect and click Submit.
Each option is straight forward on what it does.
The “Last 10 hits from IP.” has an optional IP address input box that can search for a specific IP in the logs.

Apache Tail Usage:

When you visit this tab it start the tail right away.
You can use the Stop button to pause the logs and Start button to start it back up.


WP Check:

WP Check is used to find all installs of WordPress on your server and what Versions they are running.
Very helpful in analyzing security risk posed by out of date WordPress installs.

Usage:

Click the Submit button and you will get a list of all installs of WordPress and their paths as well as their installed versions.
Also shows the current version of WordPress available.


RBL Check:

RBL Check search all IP Addresses on the server against 98 known RBL List.
Very helpful in verifying IPs that might be suspected of spamming or other bad traffic.

Usage:

Click Submit and wait.
It will take a few min to run.
If you have a bunch of IPs on the server it can take up to 10min to complete.
Once done use the dropdown to select the IP information.
